Divine Heal Bonus - screen numbers
So - group/multi heals always show the amount of heal over each char healed.
The bonus heal (3.2 health per point in Divine) you get with Divine does not.
It only shows once.
Does this mean the bonus gained from divine only goes to one 'random' char in group?
Or does the bonus affect all group members - but only display once?
I'm sure I've seen more heal numbers popping up before when group healing.
I've tested and can not judge the heal bars to see if all group players are getting the bonus they should be getting!!!
Screen to show what i mean.
PS. Jury's still out on U.Aura on a group heal bar!!! Def good for boon prot if you can manage your manna ok.

Group heals target you (Except Healing Burst), so only you receive the Divine Favour bonus because you're essentially casting the spell on yourself. You can test this with Aegis - you will receive a Divine Favour bonus whether you target someone else or not.

I know thats what it looks like - but the Divine Favour bonus clearly says:
"Allies are healed for 3.2 whever you cast a monk spell on them"
Well, I cast a monk spell on 7 party members so should'nt they ALL receieve the Divine bonus?

It's for all AoE spells - if spell is Area of Effect, bonus from Divine Favor applies only to caster.

You do not target them, Heal party is kind of cast on the caster. The DF bonus only applies on him

But you don't actually cast it on them all. You can only cast on one person at a time, and for a lot of party-wide monk spells, you cast on yourself, thus only YOU gain the DF bonus.

Read Divine Healing.
Heal yourself and all party members within earshot.
This means your casting the actual spell on yourself, but your party members receive the healing, too, but not the divine favor bonus.

I admit defeat - ungraciously of course!!! :-) I knew the group/multi heals came 'through' the caster so to speak - just wanted clarification on why the bonus did not apply.
Thanks for the responses.
I was hoping I could go to Anet and say " we all think the divine bonus should apply to all members in group heals" - but then this would have to be QQ'd in Riverside I suppose.
I still think that a monk that has high divine should have the heal bonus on any spell and on any or all members of a group.......or is that me just being caught up in the " lets buff everything to make up for ursan" update?

It's simpler than that.
For spells that target allies, the targeted ally gets the DF bonus.
For spells that don't target, the caster gets the bonus.
For spells targeting enemies, no-one gets bonus.
What this means:
1) [skill]Heal party[/skill] DFs only yourself.
2) [skill]Healing ribbon[/skill] only DFs the chosen target, other 2 heals don't get DF.
3) [skill]Spear of Light[/skill] grants DF to no-one, but....
4) [skill]Symbol of Wrath[/skill] does grant DF to the caster.
5) [skill]Signet of Devotion[/skill] and the like grant no DF bonus due to being Signets, not Spells.

It is actually 2.3 not 3.2 and party heals don't not get the devine bonus on single heals like Orisons and Reversal of Fortune as well as Aegis that gets the bonus.
I just checked the wiki and it does say 3.2 although I though as I looked in my attribute panel it said 2.3 will have to recheck.

It doesn't matter what it says. The wording is ambiguous on a lot of stuff in the game, so this doesn't come as a big surprise.
And game balance doesn't care what you think. I personally think WoH should heal for 500, but who cares?
